To Teach is To Demonstrate (ACIM Lesson 158)

Lesson 158:  Today I learn to give as I receive
Stop and think for a moment and then ask yourself what do I need?  Do you need money?  Do you need love?  Do you need someone to talk to?  Do you need healing?  Do you need forgiveness?  What do you need?  
In this lesson we are told that giving and receiving are one and the same.  Oneness is Sameness.  If you are giving from Christ's vision you receive love.  If you are not giving from Christ's vision you are reinforcing guilt.  
The only thing missing in your life is that which you are not giving.  You cannot have what you are not willing to give.  
Jesus tells us in the Course “To give and to receive are one in truth”(lesson 108).  Jesus being the Way-shower is constantly reminding us throughout this Course that giving equals receiving because of the oneness of love.
By the law of Reciprocity when I forgive, I am forgiven.  Likewise if I  hold you as guilty, I reinforce the guilt in my own mind.  
We can’t hear it enough.  Giving and receiving are one, not only for the Holy Spirit, whose light reflects Heaven's Oneness, but also for the ego.
From the Manual Jesus reminds us that “To teach is to demonstrate.… From your demonstration others learn, and so do you.… You cannot give to someone else, but only to yourself, and this you learn through teaching ”
The results you find yourself in reflect what you are demonstrating, and it all boils down to this:  you choose love or you follow fear.

In lesson 155: I will step back and let Him lead the way, we’re taking a deep dive into the teachings of Jesus as He explains the three levels of teachers! 
 
An advanced teacher of God knows that they are not really here because the world is a dream and the people in the world are dream figures! Basically, as an advanced teacher of God, you are in the world, but not of the world, therefore you live each day with a peaceful and joyful mind.
 
What if you recognised this world is a hallucination? 🤯
 
What if you really understood you made it up? What if you realised that those who seem to walk about in it, to sin and die, attack and murder and destroy themselves, are wholly unreal? Could you have faith in what you see, if you accepted this? And would you see it? (T-20.VIII.7:3-7)
 
The truth is, God wanted to see Himself out-pictured in the physical realm and that’s why you’re here!
 
All you need to do is allow yourself to be an instrument through which the Divine can come through. You are the flute of Krishna, and Krishna, being the Divine , plays its chosen melody through you. Surrender.
 
You are complete in God, and God is complete in you!

Remembering that you have an appointed role in God’s plan and it is the Holy Spirit who has appointed you to carry out Her very important work!
“How blessed are you who say yes to love and no to fear. Know that you are guided, protected and overshadowed by the holiest light of all, the Holy Spirit in your right mind in God.”
Have you accepted the Atonement for yourself? Have you forgiven the dream?  
If so, you are among the ministers of God. So now, you make no one guilty, you see if it’s not love, it’s a call for love, and having answered the call, you know exactly what to say or do.
As a minister of God, the robe you wear is the robe of forgiveness. And forgiveness brings light.

Being one with the Holy Spirit, you are an Ambassador for the Christ. Having accepted His love for yourself, that is what you’ll teach!

This week at ACIM & More, we’re continuing with lesson 152:  The power of decision is my own.   
 
In chapter 19 the Master says that you are not at the mercy of things beyond you, forces you cannot control, and thoughts that come to you against your will!  
 
In fact, no one can suffer loss unless it is his own decision…and how about this one...no one dies without his own consent!🤯
 
In this lesson, we’re anchoring the light of Truth by accepting that your experience comes from the mind’s decision to stand under the umbrella of love or the opposite umbrella of fear.  
 
It’s up to you and you alone to change your mind, and you will have a direct experience of the choice you make. Love or fear, peace or conflict.
 
Look around. What are you magnetising to you? And then contemplate just how powerful your mind is! And then use your creative imagination and see in your mind's eye what your life would look like if you consciously decided to stand under the umbrella of love?
