From the manual of A Course in Miracles we learn that Death is the central dream from which all illusions stem.  Anxiety, fear, jealousy, self hatred, and every attack thought expresses the underlying thought ‘I am separate from God’, which is death.
However, I am created in the image and likeness of God, therefore I am an eternal spark of the Divine and no matter what, I as spirit will live on into eternity.  There is no death.
Lesson 163: There is no death. The son of God is free.  
From the ego came sin and guilt and death, in opposition to life and innocence, and to the Will of God Himself.  Life has no opposite, for it is God and everything that God created cannot have an end, and nothing He did not create is real.
Swear not to die, you holy Son of God! You make a bargain that you cannot keep. The Son of Life cannot be killed. He is immortal as his Father. What he is cannot be changed. He is the only thing in all the universe that must be one (T-29).

If you are walking around saying things like, I hate this, I don’t like that, he or she’s a jerk, or anything along those lines…or if you’re entertaining drama, hanging on to a victim story about your past, what you’re really saying is “I am not as God created me”.  
John 15:26 -  But I will send you the comforter from the Father. When he comes, he will give evidence about me. He is the Spirit of truth who comes from the Father.
Lesson 162: I am as God created me, is an expression of the Atonement principle which means there is another thought system in our minds besides the ego! Good news!
The Holy Spirit in our right mind is always there. In fact, the minute you fell asleep and the nightmare began, (the ego)  the memory of God’s perfect Love went with you. The Holy Spirit’s light and the Atonement principle is the bridge back to the Heaven we never really left.  
 
We are reminded in the Course “In his (the Son’s) creation did his Father say,
 
“You are beloved of Me and I of you forever. Be you perfect as Myself, for you can never be apart from Me (T-28)

ACIM Lesson 160:  I am at home. Fear is the stranger here
I am made in the image and likeness of God.  God, being love is all-encompassing, which means there can be no opposites.  God is Absolute, Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent and because I am made in His Image and Likeness, so am I, and so are you!
Why fear when God is so near?  The Christ light is in you, the light of your very own individualised GOD Self that knows nothing of fear!
Master teacher Jesus tells us “Perfect love casts out fear.  If fear exists, then there is not perfect love.  There is no home that can shelter love and fear. They cannot coexist. If you are real, then fear must be illusion. And if fear is real, then you do not exist at all.”
Whenever you feel afraid, no matter the form of fear,  ask the Holy Spirit to help you remember that  “You are at home in God, dreaming of exile but perfectly capable of awakening to reality. 
Is it your decision to do so?
Accept your Father’s gift. ²It is a Call from Love to Love, that It be but Itself. ³The Holy Spirit is His gift, by which the quietness of Heaven is restored to God’s beloved Son. ⁴Would you refuse to take the function of completing God, when all He wills is that you be complete?
